Qualified Playworker (Level 2 or 3)

Job Overview:

The Gap Club Ltd is an Ofsted registered ‘outstanding’ out of school, wrap around childcare provision catering to children aged 3 -11. We are looking for the best possible candidates to work with our children and join our team. Having fun whilst you work as well as enhancing, planning and facilitating play for children.

Role: Playworker

Locations: Weybridge, Staines (Holiday and After School Clubs).

Times:

• After School Club: 2:30pm – 5:30pm/6:30pm (Mon – Fri term time), minimum of 2 days per week. Extra hours available in Holiday Clubs
• Holiday club: 8:00am – 6:30pm with half day shifts available

Salary: Up to £11.75 p/h.

Skills and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A clean driving license with no convictions.
• Be flexible and prepared to travel to other locations
• The Ability to assist in the day-to-day preparation and delivery of safe, stimulating, fun, and age-appropriate activities.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience in childcare.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor.
• Confidence and flexibility in undertaking new tasks.
