For Schools
Offering
As part of our services for schools our Gap Sports brand can deliver Sports Holiday Clubs for your school, that provide a structured programme that promotes cognitive development through health and fitness.
Learning from the fantastic achievements of our national sports teams and individuals, government research, education and dietary needs, we believe that there is a GAP in the childcare and play sector to provide high quality, healthy and fun sports and play provisions. By introducing children to the idea that exercise occurs in everyday life not just during P.E lessons, we intend to use sports, exercise and play as tool to support children’s holistic growth.
Our first Gap Sports club was a huge success and extremely popular and highly sought after by our families, children and partner schools. Our Gap Sports Holiday Clubs tend to operate alongside our Multi-Activity Holiday Clubs and so parts of our daily routine is tailored to give siblings who may be attending different clubs some time to be together or friends who have different interests the opportunity to get together and have a catch up at different points within the day.

For Children
Our programme is jam packed with a variety of activities, experiences, zones and resources to ensure that there really is something for everyone throughout the day. We arrange our environment so that our different age groups of children have an area that is tailored to their interests and needs as well as communal areas in which siblings and friends can come together.
We fully understand and appreciate that when children are on school holidays, they may want to partake in a variety of different activities from:
- simply relaxing with their friends
- completing a mindfulness activity to help them unwind
- engage in an active game to help them let off steam and have fun.
- engage in group games, quiet activities and free play
- and trips
For our children that stay with us after 16:30pm, we provide
- A healthy balanced snack every day which is made up of fruit, vegetables and a form of carbohydrate such as flatbreads, pasta, wraps or beans on toast. Our snack time is a key part of our daily routine and provides a social occasion for the children and staff to reflect on their day as well as many other interesting conversations.
For Parents
Our Gap Sports Holiday Clubs are one of the few provisions that are open from 8:00am until 18:30pm to support the needs of our working families and also provide multiple different session options to provide as much flexibility for our families as possible. We pride ourselves on providing high quality childcare provision that is fully inclusive, flexible and affordable. They typically run alongside our Multi-Activity Holiday Clubs, and offer parents more choice during holiday periods, based on the interests if their children.
