Our Breakfast Club at Wraysbury Primary School was established in June 2011. We provide high quality care for children aged 4 to 11 years from Wraysbury Primary School from 7:30am-8:45am including a nutritious breakfast. Our registration area and Breakfast room is based in the Kitchen in the KS1 block which is next to the school field. We also have access to the Studio in the KS1 block as well as both the infant and junior playgrounds.
The club opens for business at 7:30am for parents to drop their children off and finishes at 8:45am when the children are able to go to their classrooms. Children in Reception and KS1 are dropped off to their classrooms by a member of our staff and children in KS2 and KS3 walk to their classrooms in groups.
The children can choose their own healthy breakfast and then are able to access a range of activities including arts and crafts, creative resources, reading, puzzles, board games and energetic outdoor play. Breakfast options include a range of cereals, bread goods, cereal bars and plenty of fresh fruit. Breakfast club activities will tie into monthly themes such as ‘space,’ ‘science and engineering,’ and ‘blue sensory month.’ We maximise our use of the environment, ensuring the children are active and leave us feeling energised and ready for an inspired day at school.
Parents and/or carers are authorized to park in the unmarked bays in the school car park. If the car park is unavailable, parking is available on the surrounding roads. Entrance to school grounds is through the gate at the back of the school car park.
The code to open the gate will be supplied once the registration process is complete. Parents are required to walk their child to Breakfast Club and check them in with one of our staff members.
