The Gap Club Ltd is an Ofsted registered ‘outstanding’ out of school, wrap around childcare provision catering to children aged 3 -11. Role: Playworker

Locations: Weybridge, Staines (Holiday and After School Clubs).

Times:

• After School Club: 2:30pm – 5:30pm/6:30pm (Mon - Fri term time), minimum of 2 days per week. Extra hours available in Holiday Clubs
• Holiday club: 8:00am - 6:30pm with half day shifts available

Salary: Up to £11.75 p/h.

Skills and Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A clean driving license with no convictions.
• Be flexible and prepared to travel to other locations
• The Ability to assist in the day-to-day preparation and delivery of safe, stimulating, fun, and age-appropriate activities.
• Good communication skills.
• Previous experience in childcare.
• Exceptional accuracy and attention to detail.
• Capacity to work effectively within a team.
• Good organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and multitask.
• Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor.

Role: The After School Club Lead will support in ensuring the high quality daily running of our provisions by leading an after school club from 2.30pm - 6pm Monday - Friday. Skills and Requirements The ideal candidate will have

• Must Have - A minimum of 3 years of childcare experience.
• Must Have - A minimum of 1 year of management experience.
• Must Have - experience of SEND
• Proficient understanding of child developmental needs.
• Good communication and inter-personal skills.
• Previous experience in childcare, including leadership roles.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Strong organisational skills, capable of prioritising and multitasking.
• Professional, approachable, and friendly demeanor.
• Ability to oversee the day-to-day organisation of a safe, stimulating, and fun child-oriented club.

• Excellent communication skills across all levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills, leadership capabilities, and problem-solving aptitude.
• Ability to take initiative and assume responsibility.
• Proficiency in communicating and collaborating with various stakeholders, including parents, staff, schools, and external agencies.
• Capacity to organize a safe, stimulating, and enjoyable environment for children on a daily basis.
• Have a clean driving license
• Be flexible and prepared to travel to lead other holiday clubs during vacations or staff absence
