In 2002, we were selected, due to our already established reputation, to work with local authorities to provide wraparound (out of school hours) childcare for children in local schools. We were one of the first successful providers of such care, and are as passionate about childcare today as we were then. We continue to provide Ofsted Outstanding out-of-school childcare, and are proud to have a 100% record of maintaining our rating since the 2002 opening. The Gap Club remains a major provider, one of very few, that cater for the needs of Nursery children.
We have always been more than just a service; we understand the emotional and practical demands parents face today. Each member of our team cares and is here to help you. Our staff skill set is carefully selected through rigorous recruitment, inductions, mentoring and ongoing supervision to ensure we can employ the best for our children. The Gap Club staff are diverse, active, experienced, fun and knowledgeable.
Our sites are based across Berkshire and Surrey. We are an integral part of school communities ‘bridging the childcare Gap’ with our amazing, action packed, fun filled breakfast, after-school and holiday clubs for children aged 3 years upwards. We aim to provide a special home from home experience to all and will warmly welcome you into our ‘club family’. Our ‘club family’ is proven as many of our older children have returned to us as volunteers, students or current staff members!
If you have any questions regarding our terms and conditions, please call 01753 251077 or email us at office@thegapclub.com.
To bridge the time ‘gap’ between work and school hours, with high quality reliable affordable childcare. We aim to allow the children in our care to dream, learn, achieve and enhance their innate curiosity and thinking, aided by skilled practitioners.
To celebrate and continue to be Early Years and Young People Educators, making consistent positive differences to children’s life skills and their development into young independent citizens.
Our mission is to provide innovative, child-centred out-of-school care around our ethos of building positive relationships with everyone we meet. Alongside this, we aim to help our children reach their individual potential with parity of esteem.
