I really enjoy working at the Gap Club

My time at Gap Club so far has been a really rewarding experience. I’ve been able to enjoy meeting new children, learning all the unique things about them and helping them learn and play. Getting more familiar with each child and growing a bond with them has taught me a lot about kindness and made me feel like I’m really contributing to their growth.

I have settled in really quickly and smoothly at the Gap Club, working at lots of schools early on gave me the confidence in different routines and procedures. I also received lots of training and support with Safeguarding practices, which has been reassuring and given me the tips I need to be a better play worker. My club lead Sarah has also provided me with advice and support whilst I’ve gotten used to working with children for the first time. Overall, I really enjoy working at the Gap Club.
