Reports to: Club Lead/Manager
Locations: Berskhire or Surrey (Weybridge, Staines, Englefield Green-Egham) (Holiday clubs).
Times:
- Seasonal (Holiday clubs) – Mon-Fri
- 8:00am – 6:30pm opening times. Varied shift pattern and times available
Salary: dependent on experience
Job/Role Overview:
As a Holiday Club Playworker, you’ll support the daily running of our holiday club sessions, helping to plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities. You’ll ensure children are supported, safe, and having fun in a dynamic, play-based environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic Holiday Club Playworkers to join our seasonal team and help create engaging, active, and fun-filled days for children during school holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Activity Support – Help set up and deliver fun, inclusive, and stimulating activities that promote creativity, teamwork, and development across SPICE and EYFS areas.
- Child Supervision – Engage and supervise children in active play, promoting their wellbeing and happiness.
- Safety First – Carry out daily safety checks and follow safeguarding and health & safety procedures.
- Positive Relationships – Communicate warmly with children, colleagues, and parents to create a welcoming club atmosphere.
- Teamwork – Work closely with the club team to ensure smooth, fun-filled days for all children.
Key Skills and Expertise
Essential:
- Passion for working with children in a play-based setting.
- Friendly, proactive, and supportive team player
- Commitment to safeguarding and child wellbeing
- Good communication skills and willingness to learn.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in childcare or activity delivery
- First Aid or Safeguarding training (or willingness to obtain)
Physical Demands
The role involves engaging with children activities, setting up and packing away play areas, and moving equipment. A good level of physical health and stamina is required to support an active and safe environment.
